Led Projects, a leading company in led lighting solutions for sports, industrial, and service sectors, announces the appointment of Luis Torres Urios as its new managing director. This strategic addition will strengthen the company's commitment not only to increasing its sales but also to establishing itself as a benchmark for quality and innovation in led lighting across a wider range of sectors.
Luis Torres Urios brings over 30 years of extensive experience in senior management and leadership roles in both the banking and sports sectors. His vast knowledge and expertise encompass the organization and management of large-scale sporting events, adding significant value to Led Projects in its mission to provide efficient and high-quality lighting solutions.
"We are thrilled to welcome Luis Torres to our team", says Juan Antonio Pérez, co-founder and CEO of Led Projects. "His outstanding career and experience in managing major sports projects, along with his deep understanding of market needs, will be essential in driving our vision and expansion in the led lighting market", he adds.
"At Led Projects, we always look to the future with an expansive vision and are determined to take our expertise beyond sports, encompassing diverse fields such as healthcare, banking, hospitality, and institutional sectors. Our ambition aligns perfectly with the person, knowledge, and professionalism of Luis Torres. Together, we will increase our presence in the global market and strengthen our brand image", states Pérez.
On his part, Luis Torres expresses enthusiasm for this new chapter: "It is an honor to join Led Projects. The company is currently experiencing exponential growth and they needed someone to lead that growth, they thought of me, and here I am to shape it. I arrive with excitement and, above all, with a lot of eagerness to transfer my professional experience to the company".
In recent years, according to Juan Antonio Pérez, Led Projects has undergone a significant shift, transitioning from generating 20% of its revenue in sports lighting and 80% in industrial and service lighting to now achieving 80% in sports lighting -especially in padel, where the Madrid-based company is the undisputed leader- and 20% in industrial and service lighting.
"What we are going to try to do is find a balance between both segments by incorporating and forging strategic alliances with institutions and companies in the food distribution, hospitality, and banking sectors", explains Luis Torres. "Obviously, this balance we seek poses a great challenge, but we are prepared to face it, as we are more than leaders in paddle and sports lighting solutions, and pioneers in seeking new paths to illuminate the future", he adds.
