HEAD will continue as the official ball of the FEP

HEAD has renewed its agreement with the Spanish Padel Federation (FEP) to remain the official ball. The agreement, approved by the FEP Board of Directors in July, was signed and ratified by both parties during the Spanish Junior Championship held in Madrid. As stipulated in the contract, all championships organized by the FEP will continue to be played with HEAD’s official ball, which will now transition from the HEAD PADEL PRO to the new HEAD PADEL PRO +.

This is a completely new model of padel balls. Featuring a core made from a new formula that maintains pressure for longer and a new felt developed exclusively for padel, the HEAD PADEL PRO+ is now more durable. Additionally, its thinner core makes it easier to control.

Popular among demanding players who seek exceptional control, this model will be used for the junior circuit, as well as absolute and veteran competitions organized by the FEP, both in doubles and team formats. An important point to note is that it is now packaged more sustainably, with a new design that makes the tube more eco-friendly and easier to recycle.

Ricky Brigolle, Category Manager for Racquet Sports at HEAD Spain, expressed his excitement about this contract renewal: "We are very happy and grateful to renew, once again, as the official ball with the FEP. This year, especially with the new ball, we are even more excited, as the years go by and our relationship with this institution continues to grow, increasing HEAD's visibility and providing invaluable support. We will continue to work together to bring padel to all corners of the country, both in competition and training. Here’s to many more years together."

It’s worth noting that HEAD padel balls, a brand that has been partnered with the Spanish Padel Federation since 2015 as the official ball, not only have the trust of the FEP but also the federations of Portugal, Andorra, Croatia, Moldova, Mexico, New Zealand, Italy, Denmark, Japan, as well as 13 regional federations.

"From the Spanish Federation, we are pleased to have the support of a brand of HEAD’s caliber for another two years. It’s a privilege to use what are undoubtedly the best padel balls on the market today," said FEP President Ramón Morcillo, who also expressed his gratitude for "the support and trust HEAD has consistently shown our federation for many years."

In addition to using HEAD PADEL PRO+ balls exclusively in all its competitions, the Spanish Padel Federation also recognizes the Austrian brand as an official sponsor.
