Wilson has been named the official ball of the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Finals, to be held in Barcelona from December 19 to 22, 2024. Padel enthusiasts will have the chance to witness the top 16 male and female players compete for the championship title, concluding Premier Padel’s first year as the sole professional circuit.
Since its inception in 2022, Premier Padel has aimed to grow the sport globally by bringing tournaments to new countries such as Kuwait, Paraguay, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia. Additionally, it has partnered with leading brands in the industry to provide the best experience for players and fans alike. These strategies align with Wilson’s mission, as one of the top sports equipment brands, to promote padel’s expansion on a global scale.
Wilson was specifically chosen as Premier Padel's official ball supplier and holds exclusive rights to develop and distribute the official Premier Padel ball. As such, the American brand will provide the balls for the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Finals.
Earlier this year, Wilson collaborated with Premier Padel, the International Padel Federation (FIP), and the Professional Padel Association (PPA) to develop two high-performance balls. The Premier Padel Speed ball is designed for slower playing conditions, emphasizing control and precision, while the Premier Padel ball is tailored for faster conditions, maximizing responsiveness and pace.
