HEAD has announced the extension of its agreement as the official ball of the Asia Pacific Padel Tour (APPT) across all its tournaments, including the Padel Open, Grand Slam, and Master events.
This successful partnership began in twenty twenty-four with the shared goal of further developing padel globally, a sport HEAD has been supporting for over twenty years. HEAD aims to assist players in every market where padel is growing by providing high-quality equipment.
Wolfgang Grau, Category Manager Racquetsport & Area Sales Manager at HEAD, expressed his enthusiasm for the renewed agreement, highlighting it as a great opportunity for the brand: “Interest in padel is growing in Asia, and the APPT is meeting the demand for a continental padel league across the Asia-Pacific region. That’s why we are extremely pleased to be part of this development and to support the APPT with HEAD as the official ball.”
Under the contract, all APPT tournaments will use the new HEAD PADEL PRO+ and HEAD PADEL PRO S+, upgraded versions of the PRO and PRO S models. These improvements aim to enhance durability by improving pressure retention. As a result, the balls maintain pressure for longer, offer more reliable performance, provide greater speed, and ensure exceptional control.
In addition to the exclusive use of HEAD PADEL PRO+ and HEAD PADEL PRO S+ balls in all competitions, HEAD plans various activations during the tournaments. These include player clinics and on-court activities, along with brand presence off-court. As an associate sponsor, HEAD will also create and manage an exclusive product promotion and sales area near the event zones.
