Following the launch of the BL001 padel racket in 2024, Babolat and Automobili Lamborghini have joined forces once again to introduce the BL002 model. This racket combines performance and precision, offering an enjoyable playing experience while being accessible to all padel and supercar enthusiasts.
When two giants decide to merge their expertise, their collaboration cannot be limited to just one day. Babolat and Automobili Lamborghini, who initiated a long-term partnership in 2024, are strengthening their alliance with the release of the BL002 padel racket the first to be widely accessible and available for all padel fans and players. This high-performance racket is comfortable and easy to handle (360 grams), enjoyable to play with, and accessible to everyone.
This racket stands out not only for its sporty design but also for its extremely rigid peripheral monocoque frame, thanks to 3K carbon and Koridion foam, which optimizes energy return. It will be available in two colors -green and black- inspired by Lamborghini's supercars, with a limited run of 5,000 units.

In 2024, the BL001 model was produced in Sant'Agata Bolognese, near Bologna (Italy), at Automobili Lamborghini's headquarters, in collaboration with Babolat’s product research and development teams. Directly inspired by the automotive design of Lamborghini’s exceptional supercar chassis, this racket was handcrafted step by step and achieved remarkable success.
The BL002 racket has been entirely designed at the Babolat Padel Studio, near Barcelona. This facility brings together Babolat’s expertise in padel racket technology and gameplay with Automobili Lamborghini’s know-how in carbon fiber manufacturing and design processes. Throughout the project, the teams from both brands engaged in continuous exchanges, with Lamborghini engineers traveling to Spain to contribute their expertise, particularly in materials. This collaboration represents a true fusion between the two brands.
The Babolat Padel Studio allows Babolat to test and develop its own padel rackets, exploring new manufacturing methods. Its mission is to innovate, meet player needs, and, if necessary, produce small-scale customized and limited-edition rackets in the birthplace of padel Spain.
The ongoing partnership between Babolat and Automobili Lamborghini is a source of pride for Eric Babolat, President of the brand: "Babolat and Automobili Lamborghini, leading brands in racket sports (tennis, padel, badminton) and exceptional supercars, continue to share their technological and industrial expertise to create exclusive padel rackets. Our know-how and constant pursuit of innovation serve players of all levels and ambitions. The largest possible padel community should have access to high-performance rackets, and we work toward that every day. The BL002, the first racket to be fully developed at the Babolat Padel Studio, is a major milestone for our brand and the culmination of a long-term project."
Meanwhile, Ranieri Niccoli, Chief Manufacturing Officer at Automobili Lamborghini, shared his thoughts on the collaboration: "At Automobili Lamborghini, we are thrilled to announce the second chapter of our partnership with Babolat. This collaboration goes beyond product design—it represents the fusion of two distinct worlds: racket sports and luxury automotive engineering. Our carbon fiber production team was directly involved in the creation of this new racket, bringing our expertise in materials and the ‘Made in Italy’ know-how to the Spanish headquarters. This racket will be highly sought after by both padel and supercar enthusiasts.”
