A new step forward for women's padel in this 2024. The Spanish Padel Federation (FEP) joins Iberdrola's Universe Woman Tour, the great celebration of women's sports which already includes 35 represented national federations, their regional federations, hundreds of clubs, and top athletes.
The Universe Woman Tour, an initiative of the Superior Sports Council (CSD) and the Youth Sport Foundation (FDJ) in collaboration with Iberdrola, is the most important multi-sport event for women in Spain in terms of media impact, athlete involvement, participation of public institutions, and the various sports, communication, and social activities generated in each city.
The evolution of the Universe Woman Tour has been spectacular thanks to the contribution of all the stakeholders involved (CSD, FDJ, Iberdrola, Municipalities, Media, and social centers), and it is the ideal platform to continue promoting and recognizing the crucial role that women play in society at large and in sports in particular.
In this new 2024 edition, the Universe Woman Tour schedules 4 events on the following dates and cities:
"It is a pride to have been able to materialize the participation of the FEP in an event of this magnitude and impact to support and showcase the strength of women's sports", said the president of the FEP, Ramón Morcillo. "At the moment, we are in the phase of programming and designing the activities with which paddle and the FEP will be present at the Universe Woman Tour, to participate in the events in Toledo, Madrid, and Lleida. We regret not being able to attend the event in Las Palmas (April 13-14), as due to the date of confirmation of our incorporation into the Tour, it is impossible for us to properly organize the activity", he added.
