Driving the development of Spanish sports through fiscal tools, creating products with the involvement of brands and athletes, and enhancing technology and innovation models in sports are among the primary objectives of the agreement signed between the Spanish Sports Association (ADESP), which represents Spanish Sports Federations, and SPAIN IS SPORT - AFYDAD, the Spanish Association of Sporting Goods Manufacturers and Distributors.
Both organizations have committed to working together to improve the fiscal framework for sports in Spain, promote the consumption of domestic sports products, jointly organize events, provide specialized training for professionals, and foster innovation and the development of new technologies among their members, among other initiatives.
The president of SPAIN IS SPORT, Andrés de la Dehesa, explained, “The sports sector has always been a pioneer in forging alliances. Through our partnership with ADESP, we will combine the expertise of the Federations with the development and conceptualization of valuable new products and services that allow athletes and consumers to discover and recognize Spanish sports brands.”
Meanwhile, José Hidalgo, president of the Spanish Sports Association, stated, “ADESP serves as the unifying vehicle for all our sports, and we believe SPAIN IS SPORT is a natural ally. Spanish brands and manufacturers are essential partners for collaborating and uncovering new opportunities.”
